The Studios

Hot Soup is Philadelphia’s premier glassblowing studio, and our main goal is to bring the excitement of learning to blow glass to the general public (not just to a few art students)! We are active members of the Old City Arts Association, and believe that our neighborhood and our studio have a lot to offer to any student interested in the arts, in arts education, and in the artist community of Philadelphia.

Our studios include a hot shop, with a furnace containing 400 lb. of hot glass, two gloryholes and three annealers, a flameworking studio with six individual torches, and a fusing area with kiln.
